Distribution Amplifiers and Line Drivers

The frequency response of the RGBVB/VDA-3G makes it suitable for even the highest resolution applications using one volt peak-to-peak composite video. The RGBVB/VDA-3G enables you to drive up to three component video devices from a single NTSC, PAL, or SECAM component video source producing an RGB, Y/R-Y/B-Y, or YUV signal. The input to the RGBVB/VDA-3G is three 75 Ohm internally terminated BNCs (one per channel). Alternately, the RGBVB/VDA-3G may be used in place of three distribution amplifiers to distribute three composite video signals to as many as three composite devices each. Each channel has its own gain adjustment. If the input signal is too high, the output amplitude may be adjusted as low as 0.9 of the input signal to compensate. In the event that it is necessary to compensate for input signal loss, such as that occurring on the input cables, the output amplitude may be adjusted to as much as 1.5 times the input signal.
