What’s in the Box?
Every VX monitor comes complete with yourchoice of DV Battery Plate, (Sony, Panasonic or Canon), AC Power Supplyand a 6 inch monitor arm so you can mount your monitor anywhere.

The Interface
Although it’s loaded with features andoptions, ikan made controlling the monitor intuitive and easy. The first thing you’ll notice about these monitors is all of thecontrols are front and center and clearly labeled.

It’s All About Connections
All of the monitors of the VX series sportHD-SDI (which also transcodes to component out), HDMI, HD/SD component,composite and S-Video, giving you ability to use the VX9 with any videodevice in the industry. All of our inputs use professional gradeBNC connectors to insure you stay connected.

You’ve Got the Power
If you’ve been shooting video for anylength of time, you probably have a variety of different DVbatteries. It doesn’t make sense to purchase an entire set of newbatteries just for your monitor. In today’s economy, you need toget the most out of what you already have. The VX series allowsyou to take advantage of the DV batteries you already have by givingyou the choice to use Canon, Panasonic or Sony DV batteries. Justlike our other monitors, the VX series can be powered with anythingrated 12 to 20 volts. This really opens up the possibilities foryou to power these monitors the way you see fit. These batteriesare readily available from a multitude of sources, so you’ll have thefreedom add more as you need them.

Professional Power Options
If you need Anton Bauer or Sony V mountpower options, ikan has you covered with the PBK-17 professionalbattery mount system. This simple device mounts directly to backof the VX9 or VX7. Once it’s mounted, you’re in business.

Moveable Pixel to Pixel
With other monitors, their pixel viewlimits you to viewing only stationary pixels. If you want to movethe image, you are limited to moving within predetermined quadrants, ifyou want to move out of this quadrant, then you must physicallymove the camera. With the VX series monitors, you can actuallytoggle the image left, right, up and down using our controls as you seefit, instead of having to move your camera so you can easily ensureyou’re getting the
shot you.

Don’t Stop, Keep Going
Your monitor may not be your signal’sfinal destination. So we’ve created a way to convert your HD-SDI signalinto analog component in the VX monitor without having to purchase anadditional convertor box. This gives you the freedom to output yoursignal where you want. Your digital SDI signal can be converted inthe monitor to analog component.
