The VR-N900U is a a fully integrated standalone networkvideo recorder (NVR) that can record images from both analog and IPcameras. It enables an easy and cost-effective upgrade of an existingsystem to a digital IP network

Previously, users had to choose between standaloneanalog video recorders, or computer based network recorders thatrequired installation, configuration and licensing of external softwarepackages. The VR-N900U eliminates those hassles by providing a fullylicensed Milestone network recording system configured to accept bothanalog and IP camera inputs. Its single box design provides simpleconfiguration and management of all sized surveillance systems usingconventional front panel controls, or with an optional keypad andmouse.

For large-scale, IP-based security systems, multipleVR-N900Us can be connected via network servers. In addition, therecorder operates as a stand-alone unit without the need for a PC andfits easily within an existing network infrastructure.
