Complete Fiber Optic Transport Solution

The ANDIG–2500 (transmitter or receiver) is a complete fiber optictransport solution for extending a pure analog 10MHz sinusoidalreference signal, and an ASI, SMPTE 33Mb/s data stream over two fibers.

Typically used for studio–to–transmitter links (STL) orstudio–to–studio, the 1RU frame houses two power supplies in both thetransmitter and receiver units, providing full power redundancy on bothsides.

The ASI 33Mb/s data stream transmitter input has two BNC connectorsoffering a convenient loop–through feature. The analog section hasfront panel adjustments for gain, and up to 300m of EQ. The inputimpedance can be set to 50 ohm or 75 ohm impedance.

Both the transmitter and receiver have video and optical front panelstatus indicators with dry alarm relay contacts. The ANDIG–2500receiver has a dual output for the 33Mb/sec data stream, with SMPTEreclocking and EQ.
