United Electronics offers awide range of Power Distribution Panels and cable assemblies for themilitary.

 Theory ofOperation: United Electronics PDP’s receives 60Hz power byway of a cylindrical connector on its outside panel. Power at 120/208volts, 3-phase is distributed and controlled in a board under a weatherresistant cover, or dead front panel. Individual 3-phase andsingle-phase circuit breakers control power output to military styleClass L connectors and NEMA-style “twist lock” connectors forconnection by cables to users’ equipment.

 All circuit breakersare of the thermal-magnetic trip type, which open if one or more phasesis overloaded. In addition to the thermal-magnetic trip, all of the20-ampre, single phase circuit breakers are of the Ground Fault CircuitInterruption (GFCI) type which trip when a small leakage circuit to theground is detected.

 Expertly Designed:UNITED ELECTRONICS Power Distribution Panels are designed to safelytransfer power in harsh outdoor conditions. With ranges from 15kw to200kw, all models use UEC’s durable Class L connectors to accept 3phase, 120/208 volt input and disperse it to other Class L connectorsor NEMA wiring devices. All of our PDPs meet the highest standard ofsafety and durability.

 Construction:UNITED ELECTRONICS builds the PDP cabinets with an aluminum alloyallowing them to be both sturdy and light weight. In fact, only the100kw and 200kw models require more than one person to move them andthe larger models are constructed in such a way that they can easily bemoved by a forklift or sling. All units have been tested for extremeenvironment operations and can be powder coated in almost any militarycolor scheme.

 Complete assemblies have aconnector at each end and ship coiled and strapped or on a reel.

Pigtail Assemblies have one connector and an open end.  The open end can be left in the jacket or cut back to expose the wires.  The exposed wires can be tinned, have a terminal lugs put on them, or just be left as is.
