Fast Forward eClips

eClips is a cost-effective and easy-to-use DVR system for live production. In a single, compact package, eClips gives users instant, on-the-fly access to video clips, stills, animated graphics, and audio clips for enhancing news programs and other live productions. The eClips can also be configured for Key/Fill applications. eClips provides large touch screen controls* for unprecedented ease of use. Producers can ingest video in real time or download video files from multi-format codecs, such as DV, DVCPRO25 & 50, MPEG-2 I-frame and IBP. Play lists can be created either manually or from the system’s powerful library database. The entire play list can run non-stop or individual clips accessed randomly. Each video clip is represented by a thumbnail which is user selectable from any frame, making the thumbnail more descriptive and easier to identify. In addition, eClips’ frame-accurate video trim editor enables producers to trim clips on the fly to ensure that they fit the required time segment, and to build
simple transitions between clips.
