Time Tailor Audio reduces audio program run time for the creation of additional time. Audio time reduction is preformed in real-time, on air, and without compromising program integrity through an undetectable process that uses proprietary algorithms.
Time Tailor Audio is the comprehensive solution for audio broadcasters who own their own content (news, local sports, local programming, etc…), and need more time. With simple entry of program specific time information, Time Tailor Audio’s micro-editing process selectively removes audio pockets to create the desired additional time. Variable selection allows the operator to add from zero to 4-minutes, within 10-minutes to 2-hours.
The operator enters the Program Time, Hold Time for existing commercials, and Insertion Time (the additional time to be added to the program / reduction time). Once “start” is pressed, Time Tailor Audio begins storing the program into delay memory. At this time the additional time is utilized. At a pre-specified time, Time Tailor Audio releases and outputs the program delayed by an amount equal to the additional time. Over the course of the airing segment, the delay is slowly reduced and by the time it reaches the next insertion point there will be zero delay and Time Tailor Audio is ready to begin again.
Time Tailor Audio is a self-contained, solid 1 RU frame, which can be externally controlled via optional RS232 remote or GPI.
